With Freedom Expansion Home Healthcare, you or your loved one will get the necessary assistance and hands-on care needed to maintain a safe, independent, and enjoyable lifestyle. We provide a full spectrum of private care, meaning that as a patient’s needs change, our services can change with them.

Our staff will assist with the personal care services needed to maintain independence in the home, including meal preparation, personal grooming, laundry, light housekeeping, medication reminders, companionship and caring for bed-bound clients. When one-on-one care is needed, we will be there for you, whether it’s an hour a day or for overnight stays.

Physical and Occupational Therapy

Physical and Occupational Therapy

Physical Therapy assists
patients in regaining physical motion and strength. Many therapies can be provided in the home to improve recovery from illness, surgery, or injury. Our licensed Physical Therapists will evaluate the need for services and create a plan of care that allows clients to develop independence with daily activities. Conditions known to be improved with Physical Therapy services include, but are not limited to: falls, loss of balance, difficulty walking, joint pain, back pain, hip and knee replacement surgery, and any condition that causes a decline in function. Home Occupational Therapy is a rehabilitative service for people with mental, physical, developmental or emotional impairments. The use of Occupational Therapy will help to restore or maintain a person’s ability to perform. After hospitalization or a recent surgery, our Occupational therapists can help you regain your self-care skills right where you live, including fitting for prosthetics and training in the use of mobility assistive devices, fall prevention, customized exercise programs, balance training and motor skills rehabilitation.

Our skilled clinicians are experienced in caring for and managing a variety of wound conditions in order to speed recovery, increase patient independence and comfort, and reduce the incidence of wound recurrence, complications and infection. We provide care for common wound conditions, including pressure ulcers, vascular and diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds, fistulas, and skin breakdown due to incontinence.
